I’m so glad that I got to meet this awesome family this past weekend. They’ve been going though so much in the past several years and I’m so excited that I got to take some family pictures for them. We were supposed to have done this in January, but then Collin weren’t doing well so we had to wait until now. We met on a beautiful evening at Oxford Lake which neither of us had been before, but it came highly recommended by other people. The whole family did awesome and I got to say that Collin was such a trouper. I know he was so tired and didn’t feel good in the end, but he fought though it and did awesome. I love that they brought their service dog with them and he was so excited to be there with us. I really think we were able to capture what they really wanted in this session….which I’m guessing is being a “normal” family being happy together. Thank you so much for letting me take your pictures!!!

This is just one of those sessions that I LOVE!!! I’m so jealous that this is not Sofia and I since this is how I want to remember us….happy and relaxed:) I’m so excited that I finally got to do a mommy and son session. I had been wanting to do a session where I was just focusing on capturing a relationship and nothing else. He had just turned 2 and at that age you never know what can happen. Luckily he was in a great mood and loved hanging out with his mommy….who I adore by the way:) It really was so much fun and I just love everything about what we got. I think that they look so incredibly cute together and I love how they laugh….there were some serious belly laughs going on.
I think that at some point we all should do a session where we are really interacting with our child. I know that pictures like this is what I will love forever. Who wouldn’t want to look so happy and carefree while playing with their child? I know I would!!! If you want something like this for your session please let me know. I would love to do this for you as well.

I have wanted to show some more from this session for a while now and I finally got around to it. I love shooting families with older kids…just love it. They are easier, but then also harder:) This family is so beautiful and the two girls are so full of personality. This is such a huge post. but I really had a hard time to narrow it down. I just LOVE how their session turned out.
I’ve been wanting to show a few pictures from this super cute session and I finally found the time to do it. I just can’t believe she’s already 6 months old. It feel like yesterday I took her mom’s maternity pictures and then a few weeks later her newborn pictures. Anyway, I think she’s adorable and she has the cutest little chubby cheeks….I just love them. She also has the prettiest eyes and I’m totally jealous:)
