{Close} Oxford, Alabama family photographer

I’m so glad that I got to meet this awesome family this past weekend. They’ve been going though so much in the past several years and I’m so excited that I got to take some family pictures for them. We were supposed to have done this in January, but then Collin weren’t doing well so we had to wait until now. We met on a beautiful evening at Oxford Lake which neither of us had been before, but it came highly recommended by other people. The whole family did awesome and I got to say that Collin was such a trouper. I know he was so tired and didn’t feel good in the end, but he fought though it and did awesome. I love that they brought their service dog with them and he was so excited to be there with us. I really think we were able to capture what they really wanted in this session….which I’m guessing is being a “normal” family being happy together. Thank you so much for letting me take your pictures!!!

Collin has been diagnosed with Devic’s Disease which was something I’d never heard of and I had to look it up myself. If you want to read more about Collin’s story please do so HERE.

Thank you so much, Anette! I am so excited to have the pictures & can hardly wait to see the rest! You were amazing with us. There is no way I can put into words how much this means to our family. You made things so easy for us. When I look at these pictures, I see us, just a family. I don’t see the medical crisis we live with on a daily basis. Thank you for giving us a little bit of “normal”, whatever that is!
